I got to the airport and was given a boarding card and said said she had to check with the Chinese immigration officers if the 72 hour transit visa is valid for me as my plane needed to touch down in shanghai first before Beijing. I made it to my room and it is cold but I also haven't showered in over 24 hours so no doubt I am signing off now to rectify that with a HOT shower and cuddle up under the covers for the evening. My room mate plans to spend the night with his wife in her room upstairs so ROOM TO MYSELF!! Training registration begins tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Our awesome hotel called our room in the morning and said they would have their driver at the hotel at 3:30pm to drive us to the airport. They said we could just keep our room until we left. We just went for a walk after breakfast and did a little last minute shopping and saw the Temple of Literature. We flew from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and met Sara at the airport there. Our flight to Tokyo left at midnight. Christmas Eve!!
