Kas Hotel Club Barbarossa

We had a heck of a rainstorm last night in Olympos; but it didn't delay the plan to travel westward on the Med. So, here we are in Kas, a beautiful quiet sleepy town with a yacht basin filled with sailboats. <br><br>The hostel is Beautiful. I think the best I have ever stayed in. And the price isn't too bad, although it is the off season. This Might be It- the place I have been looking for. But, of course, it's too early to tell.<br><br>

We enjoyed all the sites by boat including the nearby mud baths, lake and beach that's so gorgeous even the turtles chose it as a breeding ground!<br><br>Leaving our most comfortable Dalyan guesthouse we headed further along the coast to the peace and isolation of Kabak and our "simple" accommodation, described by Steve as a B&amp;Q shed on stilts, but with a better view than most!<br><br>Views are great but ...

The island of Kastellórizo (or "Meis", as the Turkish call it) is in swimming distance from Kas, Turkey and hours from the Greek mainland. By now, the wind was blowing off the bay, and the sea was good and properly stirred up. The waves were crashing into the shore with huge plumes and walls of water shooting into the air. We all sat and watched from the private beach across from our hotel, waiting to get sprayed and having a great time.
