We did not take too many photos as the falling snow was getting our cameras wet. We had to be away, walking back along the track by 4:30 so that we were in time for the last bus back to Nagano. Still unsure of whether the trek into the mountains to the monkey park would be worth it, since it was a beautiful day with nothing else on the to-do list for us to explore in this region, we decided to give the monkey park a go, and I'm very glad we did.
