Tunis, Chaiyaphum Province, Tunisia formatione... Marrakesh was fun getting lost in. The Djemaa El Fna, or square outside the medina souks, was busy, busy, busy. Its flute music, snake charmers, henna painters, food stands, and labyrinthine alleyways make it a fascinating place.
There is not much in Morocco as far as Roman Ruins are concerned but the color of the countryside more than made up for this.

Another great trip! Sousse, Tunisia reservationIt's funny to haggle with the Tunisians in their markets, but Tunis disappointed me a little... it's dirty, have an strange smell like a mixture of spices and sweat... there just a few places to visit and they are so careless with their highlights... but after that we visited Sidi Busaid, I recommend this place instead of Tunis because of his streets and views
Tunis, Tunisia danny23dc... each other. The person who connects the most stories with their authors wins $100 off their next Toto Tour. It is a challenging game, and the winner correctly identifies only eight stories, counting his own. Our first touring stop is at Sbeitla, the site of the ruins of the Roman town of Sufetula. The place is definitely one of the highlights of the tour, with a large theatre, a forum with impressive temples dedicated to Juno, Jupiter and Minerva, and the ruins of ...
Tunis, Tunisia wareameye... a sigh of relief and had a refreshing yogurt drink. We bought our train tickets with every dinar in our pockets (seriously! almost down to the cent--it came to 50.90 dinars and we had 51 in our pockets--with the line behind us I could imagine the disaster that would have played out had we been short). We then reloaded at an ATM before heading back to the hotel through the Medina. ---------------------------- For our last night in Tunis, Shannon took ...
Tunis, Tunisia willietanner... alot of driving and alot of Roman ruins. The first set of ruins at Carthage were interesting..well, as interesting as old rocks can get... However, after the fourth set, everyone on the trip was pretty bummed because our time at the ruins was not spent listening about the history of these giant structures, but were spent playing games and hanging all over the old rocks.
Tunis, Tunisia kzallstar... up at the Sousse museum. We entered, and saw the most impressive set of mosaics that we had seen. These had basically been dug up from the various archaeological sites. Also, it included part of the wall, so we climbed this and had another view, but different, of the city. We followed the wall some more, and after a complete circle, we then went into the new part as we wanted to find a supermarket so we could buy some glasses and a bottle of Tunisian wine. After ...
