    Dear Bev,

    Finally touched down in Phuket yesterday. There wasn't much to see from the airport, but the water was gorgeous from the plane's view. I got my Thai visa, which thankfully is free for most nationalities, and headed to my hostel. It was recommended to me through a mutual friend and I was pretty stoked about it.
