... him…..but admired his balls for trying it on. We got on a bus 5 mins later and yes you guessed it, it went straight to phuket…the lying little toe rag! Where we had to be taken individually by scooter, my backpack acting as a huge sail, making me very nervous that I would fall off as we sped around a corner, to a local bus/taxi stand – where the sister tour operator paid just 30 bhat for us to be delivered to Karon beach……grrrr!
Anyhow once ...
... How good is that food we had Spring Rolls 170 baht, Chicken deep fried 170baht , Chicken Massamann 190bhat and rice, the spring rolls were the nicest I have ever had and were packed with chicken and glass noodles bloody great, washed down with ice cold Singha beers, the Sea Gypsy long boats in the foreground all swaying to the beat of the Clash and other Reggae beats, and the Islands further, out can life actually be any better I really doubt it this is heaven.

... and boarding a 14-hour overnight bus to Bangkok. Phuket, and specifically Patong, was an enjoyable experience though we certainly weren't the typical clientele that the nightlife caters to. On a different trip with different inclinations we might visit Ko Phi Phi or another remoter resort location. However, we had heard that Phuket was the Hollywood of SE Asia and we found it mostly lived up to it's reputation; a faded, tired tourist trap-just like the one in Los Angeles
Phuket, Thailand sponger42... on Phi Phi (there were thousands of them!). Unfortunately this did mean we were treated to such sites as a 50+ year old slightly overweight woman who was only wearing a thong wandering around (horrific, trust us). By the end of the day I (EW) was quite burnt, ok very burnt but it was alright as we had accidentally gained a bottle of aloe vera gel off an American we met in Phi Phi so covered my legs in that. That night we had a stroll on the ...
Phuket, Thailand emmaandemma... is clear and lovely and warm. So we had our first swim which was delightful and refreshing and made us feel like we were actually on holiday. After some careful consideration, we have decided to do our PADI Open Water diving course. We went and chatted to a couple of people before signing up for a 3 day course....starting tomorrow morning at 8am! it involves some studying, a bit of ...
Phuket, Thailand jimandnat... shrimp... clam like bivalves that were raw - can definately say that I am not a fan. Rice noodles, a spicy sauce and some lettuce leaves. We were supposed to make a wrap with the noodles, sauce and bivalve... ours were mostly noodle and lettuce. Once we were done partying with the girls at the shop, we decided to wander around Patong and see the nightlife. Yes, we went to a 'free go-go show' which cost $18 US for a drink and was quite shocking ...

Phuket, Thailand princesscheryl... Debbie says that most of this beach was spared from the devastating waves. She explained that it was like that all over the island, some places that were hit hard, but a random building would be perfectly intact. To step back, we met with Eric and Debbie almost 4 years ago on Phuket. They just finished getting certified to teach English and Debbie had accepted a job at one of the International schools. And we were just ...

Kirjoittakaa joku Japanilaisin merkein: täräytin tänään lunch boxin naamaan ja huitaisin muutaman Asahi bissen vielä päälle... Voinko esimerkiksi vetäistä luovasti yhden viivan lisää johonkin merkkiin ja se tarkoittaisi jotain uutta ja hauskaa vai onko teksti aina perus kirjakieltä? Nyt alkoi nyppäsemään, en tajua!? Luultavasti ratkaisu on hyvin ...
