... restaurant to use their toilets … excellent - Squatty Potties !!






We crossed over the road and waited on the pier for our boat and when it arrived, we clambered in – stepped up, leg up, hold on, leg over the side of the boat then the other leg, being careful not to step onto the kiddie sized seats which were not fixed to the boat floor !






We set off – bound for James Bond ...

... and when the last one finishes and we are all on board ready to go, the bus driver goes on chatting with his compatriots! "Sir, our hostel closes reception at 10 pm...can we go?" Suprisingly he does listen to me, and we do go! I've got the feeling this is going to be easier than south America!

Luckily, the hostel is really nice, has aircon, and a balcony with views....to the back patio...but anyway!

... above the dense foliage, there was no going back now. As we corkscrewed this, now rubbley concrete path, up the side of the mountain, I was getting seriously worried, a) that Skippy wouldn’t be able to make it and b) that there’d be nowhere to turn at the end of this track.


One hand-painted signpeg pointed to Camping, just on a sharp right hand bend, we negotiated the turn, and spotted a cliff-hanging house with someone on the ...
