From Bangkok we took another unreliable bus to Phuket and scored an awesome deal in a 4 star resort called The Karon Princess on Karon Beach. Apparently it was the last week of the off season. G'day mate
... the tourists - we have a set lunch and sit with 4 Brits - the first we've seen since we've been on Phuket. Lunch was good although it was so hot we couldn't eat much. We buy several drinks from the stall at the back of the restaurant - the tour co was meant to provide water and fruit but it doesn't. This is all we see of the village, I was expecting a tour around it but all we see is this generic restaurant, I'm really disappointed, we are also not told anything the whole time ...
