They are very proud of this as there are many much larger places close by that maybe called cities but have missed out on being included.<br><br>One of the things that is rather difficult to get used to is the vision of a sailing boat seemingly sitting in the middle of a paddock hidden somewhat by the farmers crops but moving along at a steady pace. ... 8217;t much rain and we were very lucky because in the centre of Holland they had cloud burst and the street and houses were under water.  It was a great night, only the immediate family were here and we sat outside until about 10 o&#8217;clock.  After everybody left we walked the dog through Lekkum (still daylight) and it was the end of yet another great day.  Can&#8217;t believe our time with Durk and Pieti is over .................

... campings erbij, waar eet je en hoe reis je. Het is heel luxe, wij gaan met 2 auto's, ook dit is aangeraden. 2 weken geleden een nieuwe tent gekocht, dus het kan zijn dat hij de eerste tijd op de foto er nog niet helemaal netjes erbij staat. In de meivakantie lopen wij tot Hardenberg en hebben regelmatig een rustdagje (al dan niet verplicht), dit ook omdat Bambi toch een dagje ouder wordt en wij natuurlijk ook. Al met al, wij hebben er zin in!!!

... and it was raining. So in the long run I did nothing because I couldnt really go 5 feet out of my door with out getting soaked. Trust me I tried. But it rained until about 10 pm. So yeah in the long run. FUN CANCELED DO TO RAIN!!!

So I woke up at 9am after a nice long nap that started at 530 pm the day before. I then headed to Stenden which is usually a 15 - 20 minute walk but I turned It in to a 35 min because I had no idea on how to get there. I had to ask how to get there and the directions I got were a figure pointed in the general direction and was told to go that way. So once I got there I registered for the intro weekend. The Netherlands... we didn't get the best first impression!! We were lost over and over again, the whole place is full of bridges, tunnels and over passes for the motorways.... Which just don't make sense!! However the mood was brightened when we saw a sign for "Zeeland".
