The boy, the finger, the dyke.....

A travel blog entry by pwhalen on Sep 30, 2014

We returned to Gorredijk and then rode bicycles through the woods and countryside to find a lovely quiet place to enjoy afternoon tea, in the sunshine.
An evening meal with Fabriek family and then back to ...

Arrived in Amsterdam yesterday, Tim's friend, Woody, was too busy and can only catch up with us Saturday night, so we thought, ok let's go visit Maryke's uncle Falkert (the brother of Tim's beloved Oma). Falkert and his wife (Phinneka, currently visiting her sister in Canada) live just over an hour away from Amsterdam, in Leeuwarden. Falkert said he'd pick us up and arrange for us to sleep somewhere Friday night.. We wernt too sure what this meant but said ok! Turns out dear old Falkert, ...
