However once ashore it was actually a charming little fishing village that had been destroyed by a volcano some 20 years ago. The old church was rebuilt and parts of the village, but most was just stuck back together in a ramshackle way. Watched a pod of dolphins play in clear water on our bow. They were so close, I could hear them breathe when they surfaced.

The minute we plunge into the water we were surrounded be every colour shape and size of fish imaginable. We spent about two hours swimming with the puffers, barracudas and a hundred other types of fish we had never seen before.
