The next half hour me and the rest of the people in the car nervously giggled as our tourguide did tricks with the car, danced while driving, played very loud music, told the girl next to him to take over the wheel while he took some pictures and even got out of the car while it slowly kept moving forward. After dinner (best Thai ever) we heard the Bush-stone Curlews wailing and went out looking for them. We actually found them walking around the caravan Park. As we also heard some barking owls we went searching for them as well. We found them in a tree over the road from the caravan Park. Michelle actually filmed them eating another ...

... hole in the ground. It's only a mine when it produces gems, so far his mine has only produced dirt. Wally and Sam had led such a unusual way of life I found them and their life's experiences fascinating. Sam had an incredibly good voice and wrote her own words and music. She had reached the quarter finals in the Australia X Factor TV show and was now participating in the Mount Isa karaoke contest at the local miners club. First prize was $5,000. So far she has been voted ...
