... months of travel and the last few weeks have been really cold. The weather turned a little warmer - in the 50's F or 13-15 C. We didn't care that it rained almost every day. At least we weren't freezing!
We splurged a little on a nice room at the Orka Hotel. It's maybe a 4 star quality hotel. After a little haggling, they wouldn't come down on the already low off-season price but they upgraded our room to a suite. We loved ...
... turnaround that superman in a phone box would have been proud of for some shopping and that includes haggling! Back to the Buzz bar for cocktails, mezze and great music - temperature has dropped tonight so the gave us lovely fleecy pashminas so that we could remain on the terrace. More shopping and back to the hotel but too late for dinner although there is a late snack at 11 for those wanting it - still full after large lunch and mezze.
