... br> We kayaked along the coast, passing some Lycian ruins and tombs (dating back to 2000-1000 BC) and pulled into a small harbor. We had an incredible lunch at a small restaurant overlooking the harbor and then hiked to the top to an old fort and theatre where we had spectacular views of the coast. Due to the rough water in the morning, we are unable to visit Butterfly Valley, as its a beach landing with the dingy would not be up to the journey. ... we moved down a bit to attempt to dock in a section which is clearly not used very often anymore. It must have taken the captain and crew 30 to 45mins to pull the boat in with rough water causing a series of problems. While this was happening a couple of kids were working frantically to secure one section of the dock well enough so we could walk on it safely, luggage and all.
