      Today we left after a very poor breakfast – this hotel was the least impressive so far! Except for the great hot spa! We drove south to a town called Aphrodisia – what another great surprise this place was. It is the only site that has only been discovered by Turkish excavators. Once again it was amazing to wonder through many ruins mainly in honour of the god Aprodsia – Goddess of Love. ...

      ... Swimming in the water was amazing as the temperature was perfect. After our 1st swim, I claimed a nice corner of the boat to sit for the day, read my book, sip some tea and watch the coast line. I wasn't a complete anti social, I did partake in some fun conversations out on deck, but I'm not a fan of too much sun, so I enjoyed being on my own for a bit.       ... for us our shipmates (17 including us) turned out to be a fun group offering up good conversation and laughs. Day 1 of the cruise began at noon and brought us first to a place called Samanlik Bay for lunch.
