      Gold Cost & Surfers Paradise

      Our first impression seems different and this place has a luxury feel rather than a coastal area! We are staying with Garrick and Nabia in there amazing home! They live in an a Mexican palace!!....with a huge pool J!

      ... 2 gates we needed and proceeded to have a meal and a nice chat with them for the next few hours. Time went very slowly though. It is now about 6.30pm LA time, and we are currently flying thru the sky. We are due to land at 10pm local time. I still have not slept and figured it is about 27 or 28 hours since I had any shut eye ..... It's now 9.10pm, just 50 mins till we land. Have finally had 1.5 hrs ...

Also their coins work differently to ours, where ours increase with value with size (as a general rule) theirs decrease with value increase, so $2 was our 5p and our 2 was there 10p!       ... and decided it wasn't really my thing so I enjoyed the sun on the beach while Martin stayed out there for the next couple hours having quite a few good runs and an equal amount of epic failures like yours truly. We had booked the board until 4pm and ended up returning it around 3:30 before grabbing some dinner and heading out of town. We stopped just outside of Byron Bay for the night.
