... the Berber language which is apparently quite different to the language spoken in Marrakech. He says that in the Berber culture, the woman do most of the work. The road we are on is impassable in winter as it is covered in snow. This is difficult to comprehend after the heat in Marrakech.

... the time we stopped we were saddle sore and weary and desperate to get off the bike. Looking for a hotel we found a camp ground instead. It was extremely well signposted so we followed the markers to Camping du Jardin and found a new campground with an amazing scented garden and edible orchard. The amenities blocks were clean and well functioning.

... there was nowhere else to go!). This turned into another corridor which we walked down and at the end was our miracle! In this dilapidated non-funded rubble of a building were the most beautiful rooms, maybe three or four, with lovely stucco plaster archways, mosaic walls and painted wooden roofs....you could have been in the Alhambra in Granada! We could not believe this was the inside of the same building!
