... a beautiful valley. It was full of green and red rock. There was a small Berber village off to the left that was really interesting. I knew at this point that this was going to be a beautiful and cultural little trip. From there we drove further up to the high Atlas Mountains, at around 1700 meters above sea level. ... there was nowhere else to go!). This turned into another corridor which we walked down and at the end was our miracle! In this dilapidated non-funded rubble of a building were the most beautiful rooms, maybe three or four, with lovely stucco plaster archways, mosaic walls and painted wooden roofs....you could have been in the Alhambra in Granada! We could not believe this was the inside of the same building!
