We dragged our cases over the bridge to the station and saw a couple of porters along the way. One woman said I should get a porter – “they’re only €20 and there are a lot of bridges to the station”. ... Amazing how such a simple room in Venice comes with a huge price tag hanging over your head!!! Thank goodness Jerry can stand without touching it!! Oy!! We wandered the streets of Venice fighting the "cruise" people on our way to the B&B grabbing some pizza to help us find our way.
