... fisherman have established a wide variety of ‘Fish Aggregating Devices’ or FAD’s, which are basically permanent mooring balls with many ropes attached to floating diesel cans in large groups. The FAD’s eventually grow algae and attract plankton, which in turn attract small fish that in turn become prey to larger fish. ... smell of durian as they fell from the trees with the storm. It definitely doesn't deter from how amazing it is to be back in the jungle after Cameroon last year listening to the low hum of tropical noise and smelling the freshest of air. ... and headed left at the end of the jetty and to the end to the main road. The 'virtual' bus stop was evident from the other backpackers hanging around at the corner by the hardware store/bridge area and the bus did eventually arrive around 10.30.

... has toothpaste on it or that there are skid marks on the toilet. Anyway, apart from the bathroom the place was lovely. It was Hari Raya so everyone was celebrating Muslim New Year. Which meant that everywere was closed as all the locals were on holiday. A good thing really, as it seemed that we were some of the few visitors to the island during our first few days.
