      ... time in the sun trying to bake it out of me. I felt better by noon and headed to the Archeology Museum. I was waylaid by an adorable shop in the port called "Museum." I got a T-shirt with a mosaic dog on the front with Cave Canem (Beware of dog). It’s from a mosaic found in Pompeii, and they had a replica painted on the floor.       We headed out of town to Achilleion Palace, the retreat for the Empress Elizabeth of Austria. We had learned about her life when we were in Vienna last year. She built this house in Corfu in late 19th century style and decorated it with Gods of Ancient Greece, primarily Achilles for which the palace is named.       ... Lovcen. Built at a time of communist rule and wide spread poverty, it is an overly extravagant monument to one of Montenegro’s great philosophers and poets.
