... our newfound friends adieu - our departures are spread over the next two days according to what we're each doing next.
A few of us decided to have one last nightcap on the terrace - the bar was closed but they had little bottles of wine in the pantry so we each got one of them and they brought us some glasses. We got into port late today, due to another cruise ship sneaking in ahead of us. The only space left for us was just behind a container ship moored on half the other side of the jetty.
Because of the enormous currents at this port, due to a warm current meeting a cold current, we needed two tugs to ease us in.
This made fascinating viewing, watching two tugs, pressing against our starboard side to push us against the dock. And you should see the marks the tugs left ...
