The Good, The Bad and the Tugly
... on this weekend and the streets were filled with people who had flown in from all over and a very large number of Americans who are stationed at the huge military base situated here.
THE BAD:
Bryan returns to Canada the day after we were scheduled to fly to Beijing so he returned to the “lousy“ hostel for the single night stay.
Graeme and I bade him a sad farewell and were driven the short trip to the airport by the hostel manager (for ...
Sayonara, Japan!
This was our last full day in Japan. I had class via internet in the morning so we headed out for an early lunch after that. We ate at the local Italian restaurant where I had some amazing eggplant curry. (I know – it makes no sense that I ate Indian food at the Italian restaurant in Japan, but that is the way it was!) We got to take a field trip with Josh and his friends to the local FamilyMart (like 7-11) for breakfast. Evidently, this is ...

... It is simple but clean and comfortable. Last night, I discovered - to my delight - that their tubs are about 2.5 feet deep with lots of hot water available.
