... welcome in the scorching temperatures. What’s more, at a baseball game in Japan, you don’t have to leave your seat to get one. There is a constant stream of girls with vats of beer strapped to their backs wandering through the stands, looking to pour you an Asahi or Kirin or Sapporo etc. This could never happen in Europe.

As for the game, I really lucked out to be at the Jingu on the Thursday night as the Giants and Swallows ...

... but the others would go out of their way to say hello, and as I sat in the kitchen updating the blog last night I was urged into the living room. Then this morning I was leaving, sat around for a while in the joint area, and they insisted on a photo. A Korea guest got us to make 'tears' out of tissue for a comedic photo and then I left.
