... arrived in Skopje after a frustratingly long border crossing, Jamie slept through it but I was entertained by watching some guys in a very fancy BMW being searched incredibly thoroughly by the customs guys. Didn't see anything bad happen but the first time I've seen such a thorough search of a car like that.

When we got to Skopje, we jumped in a taxi and eventually got to our hostel. Our driver was **** but whatever. He couldn't find the hostel and tried to ...

I spent the rest of the day walking around the city, and then chilled at the hotel for a couple hours in the afternoon. The weather cleared up in the afternoon, so I got to see the city in the sun and it is a really nice place. Unfortunately, in the evening, the rain started again. I went back out to ...

... Eqypt in the Luxor, New York New York, etc. Its also not done yet, so there is a lot of construction. I hope my pictures convey the kind of museum cacophony that is being created. It assumably is to generate tourist revenue, but it an awful lot of money being spent in a poor country solely for appearances.

I checked out the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Independence, the Earthquake Museum, and ...
