    We set off today along the Black Forest highway on our way to Cologne. On the way we stopped for a short walk in the forest before heading on to Murmmel See which is a small lake on the side of the road.

    The area is very beautiful with dense pine forests looking out over stunning views into the lower valleys.

    Industry developed along the Rhine to gain easy transport access to inputs (raw materials) and outputs (finished goods).
