Bright and early start at 7/9. No brekkie. Parked the car at the airport end of Kokkinos Pirgos beach and run/walked, using the lamppost method, to the breakwater that starts the harbour. and back! Drove back to the only cafe which advertises to have free wifi for diet cola/coffee break. . Guy is budgie smugglers came out of the water after swimming and chatted with friends at the beachside and then changed under a small pink towels. ... deep gorges, by the middle of the afternoon we turned off the main road and dropped down the side if a gorge, at one point it was so tight you could have touched both sides, however you would have got wet feet in the river. It's amazing how the roads are cut into the hillsides. Passing through a very narrow road in a village the overhanging balconies had their height painted on them, luckily the lowest was 3.5 metres.
