Today is our last day at this fantastic resort. Our shuttle to the airport is only at 19:30, so we spent the last of our time here soaking in the sun at the beach( our favourite spot, no kids allowed). Soak up the sun we did, I think I went 3 or 4 shades darker. Time to make our way back and spend our last night in Istanbul, then our journey home ...

There ...

... morning after breakfast we all said our goodbyes. We had such a great week and made some lovely friends. It was sad to say goodbye to our awesome boat crew as well as we all became friends too! Dan and I stayed in Fethiye for another night. We met up with Sian, Steve and Lydia from our boat that night to check out the fish market. We picked out our fresh prawns at the market and then the restaurant across from the market cooks them for us, really good!  Next destination is ...

... the pool or at the beach, swimming and diving, and generally soaking up the sun and peacefulness. We also celebrated Russell's birthday with the family, capped off with the best birthday candle/sparkler ever! This thing flamed and sparkled and even played music!

We weren't all sloth-like; we got out and did some diving and snorkelling ('refreshingly cool' was one way to describe it), visited the ruins at Patara ...
