... a group of nine or so people playing football and lighting a fire. There is also a restaurant here, but it looks closed up.
We return to Dream Catcher and drive to the water tap, whilst the tanks are filling we have our morning coffee.
Next we continue driving up the mountain, we see a sign to where the cable car from the city terminates. We park up and a small group of people come to

... park entrance and pay the admission fee, then continue climbing, at the first camping area we stop. The fog has reduced visibility considerably. Bursa the city at the bottom of the mountain is at sea level, we are now at 5500 feet. We cook our meal and I finish my book whilst Les updates Face Book. ... less is more and not just in the diet sense, it’s amazing what you can knock up with limited utensils - we’ve feasted on traditional Turkish breakfasts, lamb kleftico, chicken with thyme and garlic, salmon with lemon and dill on beds of rice and even roast chicken……Plus lots of baklava, oh god, so delish on the lips but not good for the hips. I highly recommend the pistachio baklava, crispy light filo pastry on ...

A Walk around More than the Block

... most impressive of which was a floor mosaic from the late Roman period. There were some displays with information that will probably be helpful to me, so we did make at least one worthwhile trip today, even if we were too tired to spend much time there. We got back to the hotel in the late afternoon and both took long naps before heading to dinner.

Tomorrow we're off to Unye, about 100km east of Samsun, in search of more tombs :)
