... easy access to explore the city. I had an amazing time walking around by the Old Mostar Bridge, going down by the water, and just generally relaxing in between meetings. On this portion of the trip, we attend meetings with international organizations and various non-governmental organizations (NGOs). In Mostar we spoke with a Youth Center that organizes events for young adults from both ethnicities to experience the different cultures. We even went to a concert later that evening ...

Our third stop in Bosnia, we are now in Republic Srpska in the city of Banka Luka! ... After this we stopped at a small shopping centre and got a couple of things for Rads mum, before driving back into Derventa for lunch. The roads here are narrow, uneven and potholed. There are lots of derelict buildings along the roadside, that are leftover from the war. Back at the cafe for lunch and we had another traditional meal, Cevapcic. This one was home made flat buns 8", with skinless sausage sliced up ...

    Mystery Tourism

A travel blog entry by liliflynn on Jul 12, 2014

After several hours and two border crossings, we arrive at Banja Luka in Bosnia. Little did we know, that this supposed adventure tourism hub had been badly affected by the floods. This adversely affected the tourist industry, resulting in hours searching for hidden tourist agencies that may or may not exist. We ended the day settling for a dinner of delicious veal rolls with spicy Serbian salad and some World Cup ...
