    ... 1 hour prior to landing. Most people were still eating even as the plane was making its descend. Wonder why they couldn't serve the snacks earlier. The flight time was approximately 11 hours. I think I slept only 45 mins during that time. Spent most of the time watching the inflight movies and TV programmes. Got a 3 hour wait for the last leg of the flight. Will just sit and read my book. The airport is quite crowded. But the gift stores are not as packed as my previous visits. ...

    ... at the theatre. I thought it was rather expensive but since we were already there, we might as well go in. There is a large collection of planes, inside and outside the complex - from the early models of the pedal-powered ones to the latest in fighter jet technology plus rockets.     ... a very nice small town in the rolling hills south of Portland. We then explored Knobhill which is an older Victorian area in NW Portland....nice boutiques and restaurants ...we found a bar/ Resto called Jo's and we arrived early enough to have Happy Hour goodies....very yummy!
