We arrived mid-afternoon on Sunday to some more magnificent weather. Having dropped our bags in room 208 of the Red Hills Inn, we stepped out into the foyer area where we were surrounded by a number of wine tasting ...

Today is our last full day in Portland. We're already nostalgic and felt sad when we told Henry that these would be our last train rides in Oregon. For now. I'd happily return to Portland in the future. And likely stay in a hotel again. We started the day as per usual and took the train to our stop near the Mississippi District. At one time this neighbourhood was beyond dodgy but has since been reclaimed and revitalized. It now serves as yet another eclectic shopping ...
