      ... the effort from what we have heard. I forgot to mention that we lost a wheel off one of the suitcases so I had to carry one suitcase, pull one and wear a backpack, I felt like a pack mule.

      I read in the newspaper today that the UK is settling in for some hurricane and wet weather, I have to admit we felt slightly smug when boarding the plane today if not a little sorry for poor old blighty.

      ... on Thessaly would have much more to do in it, and looked like it was just a 40 minute train ride away. We walked around town and finally found the train station, but everything was in Greek. The lady at the counter spoke a little English and told us we needed to take a bus instead, and pointed us in the direction of the bus station. We then made it to the bus station and had the same problem...EVERYTHING was in Greek. The guy at the counter here had a map ...

      ... owned by two brothers that made most of their jewelry that had very beautiful and unusual pieces. Dennis found a pair of earrings that he liked and insisted that I get them. I protested but finally acquiesced to please him.

      We then took the tender back to the ship and had a delicious lunch with Ron who opted not to go ashore because his back was bothering him. He stayed on board and soaked in the hot tub.

      ... the sea and town and on the main bus route round the isle.It has beautiful gardens with Agapanthus and a huge Jacaranda tree providing shade.Friendly fat cats are everywhere!       After somehow sleeping until 9am, we packed up and left the services I search of the ferry service to Evia and a strong coffee. Made it to ferry terminal, and after my initial worries of not being able to book in advance we boarded no problems at all - and early too, sign said 11am, and we departed at 10.30!
