I was so scared with the smell of the brakes at that time that I wanted to get back to the main road before it gets dark so I did not enjoy that outing very much.

The small tavern/coffee shop is like an oasis out here and the owners provide sunbeds, umbrellas and a shower with cold water to customers.
I found this small bay charming. The rocks form different caves where some years back there lived the Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus monachus).

Starting point the square of the village of Milies. Walk initially on ...

If you are in the area, it is highly recommended.

***The Monastery lies in the area of Agios Georgios of Nilia and it is only 21km from Volos, so if you happen to be around I urge you to visit it. It is sure that you won’t be disappointed whether you are a Christian or not, -not to mention the breathtaking view!
