We began day 1 with late breakfast in the village of Vidreres, where we enjoyed a café con leche (the only coffee I drink, and done so only when I'm in Europe) and a croissant overlooking Liar's Corner. It's called Liar's Corner because this is where the local men gather each day to talk story.

... was Dali’s house as we were approaching it. We explored a bit and then made the major trek back to our hotel. By the time we got back, I was absolutely exhausted. I ate a baguette our tour guide had given us before starting our journey, checked my email, and then called it a night (while watching a Justin Bieber documentary- it was the only thing I could find in English!) Again, my roommate went out so I had the room to myself for a while.

We got into Barcelona yesterday after being delayed in Granada for about four hours. The weather was good and the flight from Granada to Barcelona is only one hour so we still are not sure why we were delayed for so long. When we got into Barcelona we took taxis to the hotel to meet Louis and Maria Jose. Louis is Dad's friend from Architecture school who lives in Terragona which is a city south of Barcelona.
