... was starting to get urban, but still on the outskirts enough that maybe I could find somewhere. I went down a little road that ended up leading to some kind of national park - but there were chains across each parking area. I found a dirt road that probably would have done the trick on foot, but it was quite steep and I didn't want to take any risks with the bike. ... nodding.) Unbelievable. Short version. Up a very steep road to the Monastery built on a ledge on the side of a 'serrated' mountain (see the pictures. I can't explain it) in 1025. It is on the sunny side of the mountain facing the Mediterranean sheltered from the cold from the Pyrenees by the mountain.
