... alleys which are so special for Kyoto. In the hostel I met a bunch of fantastic people and most of us went together to Fushimi Inari Taisha. It's one of the most beautiful shrines I've seen in Japan, it was absolutely worth climbing the mountain even though we never really had a view on Kyoto. On our way down we took a break and had for 80 yen a cooked egg and green tea. Many thanks to Nicolas and Ana for the great travel information of Japan, all your tips were absolutely worth it.

We spent Christmas day in Shizuoka because my dad has a friend who has lived there for a long time. We went with him and his family for a huge lunch and in the afternoon while my parents went to see his house ...

... 5, half way up the mountain where they drop you off to start. So we warmed up, walked in the complete opposite direction and took a picture.

That night we met a gentlemen from Toronto that was a technician for cirque de soli on his way home after a 15 month tour in Japan. He told us about life in the circus which seemed to involve a lot of drinking and time away from home.

Someday I want to climb 3776m to top of the Mt. Fuji.

Finally we arrived at the Shizuoka station.
We gonna dressed ! Party on !!


Every time when I attend the wedding ceremony, the atmosphere made me happy.
Because everyone come to celebrate.

... the spot, but I followed the tradition to tie it to a twig of a tree in the precinct and prayed that it would get better. (Does this mean I believe in God?) Come to think of it, it is possible for me to marry, only if I make an extreme effort....(LOL)

At the foot of Mt. Horaiji, there was a small hot spring resort Yuya Onsen and I tried one of the spas Yuyu Arina, but it was just a common bathhouse without use of original hot water from its source ...
