The German train system is on strike until Monday. That is all BUT the ICE (intercity express) trains. So we did catch our 6:45 AM train from Brussels to Frankfurt. We arrive in Frankfurt around 11:00 a.m. David gets instructions on and where to take the train into the city. As we ride along I noticed that the color of the leaves are now turning yellow and orange. The country side is just beautiful. The part of the city that we saw was mapped out like a

A Quick Stop in Germany!

We said hello and goodbye to germany very quickly as we had to rush through security and baggage claim and run to our terminal to catch the next flight! It was a long flight from Washington DC to here, about 10 hours! I cannot believe we will be in Turkey in just a few more!! Next stop: Istanbul, Turkey!
