... made a reservation for 2:30 time slot. The submarine ride was all it promised to be. We got to explore a 25 acre coral reef formed 1800 years ago on lava that flowed into the sea millions of years ago. We went down about 100 feet, and learned that the colors are more subdued at lower levels because there is less light. On the way down, we saw bunches of plankton that looked like snow. ... but she was fantastic. She got a standing ovation at the end of her speech and she deserved it. Unfortunately her prognosis is not very good and she only has maybe two years to live but she is living her dream. This is a lesson for all of us. Live life to the fullest. Don't live to work, work to live and retire early and enjoy your life if you can.

... walls and ceiling inside. We headed back to Kona for a very late lunch. We ended up at the famous Kona Brewing Company for pupus, crab cakes and a dip. We will tour this another day and want to try the awesome looking pizzas. Pick up some groceries at Safeway, and then home to watch the sunset which was a bit of a bust.
