In a meeting you say everything will be ‘wonderful’ and give no details.
You forget that the other person needs to finish speaking before you can start
You burp in any situation and don’t care.
You see one foreign person eating Pineapple (or whatever) and say “Yes, all foreign people like
Pineapple”
You start to watch CCTV9 and feel warm and comforted by the ream
You take a nap while you are dining in a ...
... with a copy of my itinerary for 11/11 to fly from shanghai to new york city. this is the second time i've given it to the accountant, but i wanted to make sure that everything was ok. this time she looked at the receipt and said this is no good without the boarding pass. i said i haven't taken this flight yet so there would be no boarding pass. she said that i'll have to bring her a new one with a boarding pass.

... s, walmart or walgreens (lil had forgotten which one it was). you put your credit card in these machines and it'll tell you everything about your account: which movies you've watched, suggestions for movies, etc. and you can return the movie at any place with one of those machines!
so i know it doesn't sound that amazing- esp if you were in the states when all these changes happened. but honestly, if i mention blockbuster, it's going to date me?! how bizarre is that?!
... those two groups think
- saw a couple still madly in love with each other despite 10 years of being together
- learned a little more about growing up as a "generation y"er
- had my faith in my travelpod restored. ppl are reading this, dammit!
- got reacquainted with old classmates and made new friends
i can honestly say that i'm gonna miss them when they leave tomorrow morning. but not before we spend another night singing in our own private room at ktv.

Although our stay was brief we all missed leaving Susan, Ivan and his family especially Monique who became good friends with Ivan’s daughter Mary. We all learned a lot about generosity and servanthood and look forward to lifelong relationships.

0647 Woke up by a car horn 0700 The alarm on the phone start beeping - it's time to get out of bed. It's a bit cold in the room since the heater is not on. I turn it off during the night because it's too f-n noisy. Shave and shower, frying eggs (scrambled), making tea, toast and pore a glass of juice. Not too bad breakfast. The reason for eggs on the toast is that I can not find cheese anywhere. I know we bought it at one of the supermarkets, but it's too far away to ...
Zhangjiagang, China svante... was closed. I went into the museum shop, determined to buy something, because I can usually find something I want in a museum shop at home. I did buy beautiful postcards, so now we have more Shanghai postcards than we can send from Shanghai. When I tried to pay with US dollars, they required my passport, which I didn't have because it lives on the ship, so I paid with MasterCard, for which they required nothing. How interesting is that ...
Shanghai, China cynjohn... as well as did tons of shopping which was great considering it was 1 dollar to 8 yen. The food was good and I really like Shanghai and can't wait to go back one of these days. Its filled with people from all over the world and amazing art and architecture and we had such a good time on our riverboat.. I have to say 2005 will be a hard year to top , everything pales in comparison to where i went in 05..
