    ... however Hangzhou is different because of it's amount of baths and bridges. What also sets Hangzhou apart are it's ten markets, as many other cities only have one.     ... to shame) (4 Seasons). Unfortunately, we will not be staying here for long, which is why I can't get to see even more sights here. On the bright side, I tried the You Dong Er, a scrumptious crispy turnip snack(Go To Hz). You would think that turnips back then would have tasted terrible, but it smelled like KFC! Anyway, I have to get back to the ship. We have upgraded the small ship and are sailing on a junk all the way to India!

    ... answers to possible questions. The problem is their English level is low, their answers are so scripted, and they feel enormous pressure to pass these interviews. It was so boring for them spending hours each day memorising these dozen or so answers about their family and schooling experiences, and English books they had read. I actually fell asleep briefly in one of the private lessons while she was reciting, I was trying my hardest ...

    ... We took two different buses and ended up walking around asking for directions. We finally found the restaurant. It was alright but I like the hot pot place near us better. Supposedly it closed down (how sad!) We decided to take a cab home instead of finding the right bus. Most of them had stopped running too. It was our adventure for the day. We have 6 days of class again this week so I am going to get a head start on homework and studying!

    ... one of my favorite places in the city, and I can't wait to go up at night, as the trails are all well lit. It's real easy to get to from our house, as the #81 bus makes a straight shot out and back from Gudan, where we live.

    On yet another day, we were visited by two exchange teachers who taught Chinese at SIT in Brattleboro. After eating an elegant lunch, we hiked through the fish viewing park in the southwest part of the lake, to and into the National hotel grounds ...
