    I thought that by visiting Unesco sites I would stay on the beaten track. Well, no! I am so glad to get help from Echo (the girl I met in Xiamen) to book the hotel, and also write down the direction for me. I would have never managed without her! My hostel was in Chikan, about 30min bus from Kaiping. I arrived there after nightfall and the bus dropped me at a cross road, near a bridge.
