We got to babysit one night and it was so nice to have Matt say, "Just give her dinner and a bath, read a couple of stories, and put her to bed. You are grandparents...you know how to do it!" I finally got to Chicago...after the FAA disaster shut down O'Hare Airport! The flight from Maui to Portland was typical for a redeye...miserably uncomfortable, person in row ahead with the seat all the way back...blah, blah, blah. We arrived in Portland right on schedule and then had a 7...SEVEN...hour delay! But Bob was at the airport to pick me up so all ended well.
