Kagoshima Kuro Bunka Hotel

Eikä pelottanut yhtään, vaikka Sakurajima-vuori tuossa uhkaavasti koko ajan tupruttelikin! Jos se päättäisi nyt posahtaa, niin tulisipa ainakin tosi komea loppu! :-) Paljon enemmän olen huolissani Suomen harmauteen, pimeyteen, kylmyyteen, kateuteen ja totaaliseen luovuuden kadottamiseen hajoamisesta! Siinä on todellinen pelko!

Minä ainakin sain nyt Kagoshimasta ihan uutta energiaa ja tästä jatketaan mahtavilla mielillä eteenpäin! Näitä päiviä lisää kiitos...

Niin, tämä reissu Tokiosta Kagoshimaan oli kokonaisuudessaan melkein tuhat kilometriä, vaati neljä junanvaihtoa ja kyllä nyt on istumalihakset kipeänä, siis hyvät ihmiset sentään! Kaikista junista, tämä viimeinen (Tsubame Shinkansen) oli ehkä hienoin ja viihtyisin. Lyhin vaihtoaika oli ainoastaan 3 minuuttia ja pisin 7, että siinä ei todellakaan ollut aikaa asemalla ihmetellä, vaan oli mentävä tuli persuuksissa! Onneksi osaan Hiraganat ja Katakanat nyt jo ...

... problem was that my map of the hotel's location showed only the major streets, not the minor streets, but I didn't figure that out until an hour later. I also got confused by which of two possible symbols on the map was the hotel's location. The landmarks shown on the map just weren't appearing where they were supposed to be. So aber eigentich wollt ich von Ibusuke erzählten (ich schweif wieder ab ne) und von unseren im Sand eingraben lassen und dann noch ins Onsen springen!

... awesome onsen on the Sakurajima island with magma heated waters that are supposed to heal cuts and skin problems, improve digestion, and I heard it even makes people taller (unfortunately it didn't work for Matt, he is still only 5'10", or so he claims)!! It was glorious! Matt did do a lot better this time, successfully staying in there for almost an hour. The view is beautiful ...

Because it was difficult to visit many attractions by public transportation, we decided to rent a car for the second day and then, went round the island anticlockwise.
