What a huge day today! This morning Santorini was sitting so pretty in the blue Aegean Sea with the sun shining above her, just waiting to be explored and of course we couldn't disappoint her , so after a lovely breakfast on our patio overlooking the waters of the Caldera we set off. Strolled through some lovely galleries, shops and of course churches which are in plentiful supply here, there's even a cathedral. ...

      36 hours in Santorini

... It was more resorty (like a Cancun kind of way) than European. And one more observation - probably much better when you are traveling your significant other, as it is a geared towards romance with the weddings and all.

I tell you this as I woke with such a shock that the entire bus was looking at me for an explanation. I had to tell everyone who ...

      ... was well!

We finally got checked in and went to join all the people waiting for their planes in the waiting area. Went upstairs and there was an outside area but was in the sun and we finally found two seats and sat and had our lunch while we waited.

Finally they called our plane and we began the lining up to catch the bus out to the plane. The lady in front of us had ...

Today was a later start with a bit of a sleep in and breakfast out on our little verandah...don't think I could ever get sick of the views here!! We then walked up to the top where the road is and caught the bus up to another town called Oia (pronounced eea, as 'oi' is pronounced as 'ee' in Greek!). The trip up to Oia reminded us of the Amalfi coast as it has lots of turns and ...
