    ... one. This way, we get a glimpse of the famous islands without having to work really hard!

    We returned to the ship, enjoyed a swim, and rested on the deck. Tomorrow, we are in Athens, so we will spend another day on board since we have already been to Athens. The tension there is growing according to BBC World and CNN. There will be some challenging times ahead.

The man acted friendly enough but then just "happened" to have to have his armpit (was wearing an old white tank top) right in the guy's face the whole time (so he could hold on while standing...). Serves that guy right. There are a lot of "rude" people that you meet while travelling -- I'm not sure if it is just cultural differences or if people are clueless / oblivious / jerks.

    There are several beaches on the south and east sides ...

    ... arrived in the town of Oia, the most famous town on Santorini with the beautiful blue roofs - but not as many as you think. After finding a nice place to eat dinner we found a spot to watch the sunset. The word has obviously gotten out that it's a nice sunset from there as you could barely move there were so many people. The way home in the dark along the cliff edge was not for the faint hearted! We all got back to the hostel in one piece ...

    ... third day when literally applying what we thought was mosturizer, my god your skin gets dry when the sun's shining and the wind is blowing, and we both realized that nothing was getting absorbed into our very dry skin. Tye decided that it might help if he added water.....of course you can guess what happened!! Suds galore. Needless to say I left my soap in Santorini and asked for help when replacing it with much needed lotion in Naxos!

    Today was another sea day so it
    was good chance to catch up, have a rest, take a tour of the ship, play Trivia,
    do the on-board crossword, and go to wine tasting, take in a movie, more Trivia
    and so on. I am amazed how we can be so
