      Thailand bound

A travel blog entry by kirby1306 on Sep 03, 2014

... we got to Bangkok a
guy called Mr M (The most amazing Thai taxi driver) picked us up and took us to
Paul’s house (Paul is K’s dad friend who helped arrange for us to get to Hua Hin)
who then took us to our house just a few minutes away.

The house is beautiful but I am so ready to sleep now, let’s
hope Thailand has more to offer me than China.

      Let the new adventure begin!!

... just so glad that we got to meet her, so glad we were given the privilege of working with her, and hope that she has made it to a place free of pain.

While I was meeting all of these wonderful elephants, and saying goodbye to Bua, a hurt I still feel now, I had the opportunity to meet some incredible people! I was amused by how many people I spoke to in my first week, from various walks of life, whose stories were so different but all ended in the revelation that jobs ...

      The Weekend!

This past weekend was an eventful one. On Friday night we went to the market and got our feet "exfoliated" by some fishes. It was pretty awesome. When they go in between your toes or on the arches of your feet it is so ticklish! But our feet were nice and smooth afterwards. On Saturday some of us went back to the Hutsadin Elephant Sanctuary to volunteer and see the elephants again. The J festival has been going on which is a 10 day period of time where ...

... cause they don't know where it is, it is to close so they won't make any money, or they are just being jerks lol. A songthrum (which I think is what is called) is a pick-up truck with two benches in the back with a metal cage and roof on top. They cost about 30 cents a ride and come all the time in Samut Sakhon

Okay back to my weekend lol. So we got to HuaHin and found our hostel, which was on the same street as the night market, which was nice. We ventured around ...
