rain; and very windy all day making driving at times difficult and definitely adversely affecting the daily mileage. It turned very cold later in the afternoon and with the wind it made setup

This was a shocking sign for us to see specially coming from South Florida where people out number space/land.

I was delightlfully surprised to realize he had every step of Google Maps memorized and we settled into a mostly comfortable 60mph and happily let the crowds roar past. Road music from our CDs provided the background, and we happily sang our way up the road.
