... fast. Still, why not? While I could pay over $100 to fill my Camry, here it would cost A$28. I have realised I drive a taxi. No other sort of taxi here but Camry 99%. Actually SanFrancisco mostly too. Even the overpasses, and they are vast in number, are made to be a work of art. Pics 2,3. 2. Power. You can't miss the power grids. All power comes from oil. ... bus from our hotel so it didn't cost us anything to get there. The mall itself is enormous! Just a shame I had no money for shopping, although Edd did splash some cash on a go pro camera, which I'm sure will come in handy later in the trip! Overall, I loved Dubai. It wouldn't be my first choice, and I certainly wouldn't ever go for more than a week, but what we experienced was very nice. I would just prefer somewhere with a little more culture and few less sky ...

... to be skipping some of the Scottish winter. I am also only too aware that next week is 'payback' as my brother Paul has booked us for a couple of days hill climbing in Glencoe - one of our favourite places in the world.
