    ... needle like tallest building, set in gardens watered by the condensation from the air-conditioning. As well as stores like Printemps, Bloomiingdales etc there was an array of world famous brands for both goods and foods.     ... expected it to be expensive (everything in Dubai is) but it was outrageously high for even an hour of time on the slopes, so we decided to pass but it was still fun to have checked it out. We spent the rest of the day really just messing around in the Mall of the Emirates, enjoying the fact that it was a bit more like a “regular” mall and of course taking full advantage of one more lunch at the Cheesecake Factory before we left Dubai.

    ... with a restaurant on the 122nd floor and the observation deck on the 124th floor and the amazing thing is that it only took 5 years to build. The lift travels at 135km per hour and takes 58 seconds from ground floor to 124th floor. The weather is absolutely glorious and apparently this is the perfect time of year to visit.
