        ... and headed to MBK. The following 2 days consisted of a lot of shopping at the Pratnip Mall which was Will's favorite. It's a 4 story building with just electronics. We found some good deals and loaded up our bag with goodies. Another good mall was the Platinum mall a cross the street from the Pratunam Market. This place is every girls dream!         ... we decided not to take any chances. This is the original fast boat company and a very professional outfit. Not only could we pay via PayPal and were emailed a voucher, but they called the hotel to confirm the check in time and arranged everything right up to the drop off at the airport.         ... of a lot more security and spaces previously available are now blocked off. But, by chance, we did meet a sympathetic restaurant manager who allowed us to access the private beach in front of the hotel. In turn this gave us unrestricted access to a view of Burj al Arab, the famous sail-like 7 star hotel most often seen in promotions of Dubai.

So after being cleared to go through we made our way to the front doors and parked next to a “who’s who” of ultra-luxury vehicles.
