    When travelling solo, without having distractions or people to talk to in general, you really get to know yourself. Unfortunately sometimes you realise just how strange you and your brain is. I like how I say that like me and my brain are separate, it's moments like this that I wonder who's in charge anyway. Whilst wondering the medieval streets of Tallinn I suddenly got excited and thought 'I can smell something that smells like a deep fried delight!' ...

    ... speaking in English, the camp leader offered to translate, which he did so funnily and freely that in the end every Latvian decided to speak Latvian "just to see what Artis would make of it".

    I guess the idea was for people from the different organisations to have formed eternal bonds of friendship and respect, which would lead them to organize loads of activities together in the future, but my (lovely!) group didn't get much further than "let's stay Facebook friends FOREVER!"

    ... the huuuuuge Gadatirgus in the Open Air Museum, where we spent the entire day admiring artisans, talking to merchants of rhubarb wine and cannabis paste, watching folk dancers and listening to music.     ... for sitting on and watching the sunset. Anna's room is a little bit smaller, but has some more colour, a map of Europe on the wall and a micro-balcony for her vegetable garden. Māris and Inese's bedroom is so large that they never even bother to use any of the living rooms.

    I would almost forget storage rooms #1 and #2, which you could rent out for 500 euros per month in Amsterdam. Then we have toilet #2 and bathroom #2, with a normal shower and ...

    ... and music. On the way to the bar though, there was smoke coming from Old Town Riga and as we got closer, there was huge fire in the President's Castle which is, according to Liva a big symbol for the Latvian people. It was the biggest fire that she had every seen and we were walking home at 3 AM, the firemen were still putting it out (I'll try to attach an article about it).
