... a bit shady at the entrance and gave an eerie feeling. We almost decided to walk back and find alternative when we saw some decent people entering the place. We followed them through a dark hallway and reached a dimly lit dungeon which looked quite interesting with rock music being played live. The food was good, specially their Latvian Vegetable Soup. My own lovely first name, which my parents spent nine months coming up with, in a spelling (y, not ie!!) that I've spent 28 years defending, was promptly changed to Jani when I arrived in Latvia. Brrrr!

... any further dairy product purchasing disasters.) We packed up and headed into town. Our plans to park up and do the self guided walking tour were thrown into some disarray when we discovered today was market day. Eventually we found a car park that appeared to be free of charge. It was extremely busy and had a police car with its flashing blue lights going sitting in the middle. We were unsure whether this was a good or bad thing. Spying a VW T5 ...
