Day 5 - Return to the Imperialist Motherland!

3 and a half hours later we got our wake up call. We packed, ate breakfast and left the hotel. It was a weird feeling. It was like the trip hadn’t even started yet at the same time I knew we’d been out and about every day for 16 or so hours. I was exhausted. I was happy to be going home because a) it’s safe b) I couldn’t stand another boring museum and c) it’s safe. But I also ...

During the actual service, someone started a conga line during one of the worship songs. What wonderful memories we've made at the little ...

... house. I had to explain that the actual present was inside of the box and finally convinced her to look inside, where she found a chocolate bar and subway pass. Later when I thought about it, I guess this would be like getting a present with a bunch of cutlery wrapped together and assuming you've just received a new set a silverware.
After the presents we had to leave the party early so we could take the subway all the way to the other end to attend the big ...

... just using apple juice and some spices and it turned out pretty good. As we were starting dessert there was a loud thud at the window. Chris said it sounded like a bird had just hit the glass but I thought about it for a few seconds and said, "no, I bet it's Gabe and Sarah throwing snowballs at the window". We opened the curtain and low and behold, there they were! Apparently there had been a few snowballs that we hadn't heard but I am glad they stopped by because then we invited ...
