    Japanese sports clubs

... that as a given. If we're exhausted back home we'd take a day or two off work or go on holiday somewhere. In Japan everyone's tired all the time and everyone just gets on with it. My point being, that they love the sport despite being tired. If I was shattered before a random club practice I may have just stayed home in my teen days. But here they get on with it and when they're there they have a blast. They see their friends almost every day of the year. That's ...

Unfortunately, I got my temples and shrines mixed up and didn't get to hear the bells because we went to a shrine, not ...

... far was culturally they were “planners”. Shari, I decided it was time to hitchhike, sometimes it is fun to try your luck on the open road. I had been told that hitchhiking wasn’done in Japan, but that the Japanese had almost photographic knowledge
of American culture through movies, so would certainly know hitchhiking

I waited by the side of the cold road in the late morning, it actually was extremely cold and I had given the borrowed coat back. I ...

    Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary

... we opened those right away. Most of the cards assumed that I'd be a stay at home mom and we'd have kids by now, so those were wrong but I liked that a lot of them predicted I'd not be working outside of the home. I haven't had a job since February and I could get used to this lifestyle. Without my free time I wouldn't have been able to make a do-it-yourself anniversary present, which was a picture board. Chris said we needed some pictures or something ...
