... lines to contend with but traffic was light and I could at least drive slowly and absorb the splendour. It truly is awesome, mile after mile.

It was meant to be a short day but by the time we stopped for photos plus this and that and something else it was nearly 4:30 before we got to a campsite for the night. Found a nice spot on Lake Couchiching which is separated from Lake Simcoe by a narrow neck of land.

Up 7am to shower and finish packing. Felt a little dizzy this morning so stayed at the house while the others went to the Tai Chi classes. Had another sleep for 1 1/2 hours, then Sandy helped me to download all my photos and videos onto a USB that I bought yesterday. Then we deleted all the photos from my iPad (was completely full). Up 7am after a good night's rest. This morning we are going with Tony to his 2 Tai Chi classes - the first on the lakeshore and the 2nd at the community centre. Was great to see the ladies again. After classes we went to Marienna's house to see her wonderful garden. She has 4 acres on the edge of the lake that she has terraced with flower and vegetable gardens. It's a little marshy at the edge, so she has been reclaiming land and made a little island with a boat shed ...

... reserve on the lake where we had a picnic lunch. 2pm back to Tony's house to pack into smaller bags . At 4pm we left in 3 cars to travel to the retreat - 2 hours away. We had to pack for a week, because after the 3 day retreat, we will continue on to Niagara Falls and Ottawa, staying with different Tao families. On the road again and heading North East.
