Absolutely stunning property surrounded by a golf course and linked to the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes. Rooms are exceptionally nice as are the grounds. The swimming pool is huge and set out in bays linked by a lazy river. Lots of restaurants and bars. Its very nice to have access to both hotels linked by covered walkway.

Another highlight was meeting Jim Jones. It pays to talk to people sometimes. We saw Jim standing in the corner wearing a NASA uniform and struck up a conversation. Jim was an acoustics engineer at NASA. He was responsible for the initial recordings of the Apollo series including the one we heard in the Apollo firing room simulation. Jim went on to do the meterological electrical development for ...

... two intensities- being a lover of thrill rides and never turning down a challenge I inevitably chose the most intense version of the ride... but I was in for a bit of a shock. As our group of four resumed our position within the 'vessel', everything went dark and our attention was turned to the screen in front of us which was our 'viewing window into outer space'. With a bit of a cavalier attitude I found the dramatic attempt to heighten our ...
