KIzIlagac Manavgat, Antalya, Turkey
I have just got back from spending two weeks at this hotel, and me and my girlfriend had an amazing time! The money we paid for this holiday was far from expensive, and after reading the reviews i was very worried about going. But when we got to the hotel it was clean and the staff were very friendly. Our two weeks at this hotel were so good, the pool is constantly cleaned, the drinks are very good and the staff are very ...
Side, Antalya, Turkey seanpell09...
Side, Antalya, Turkey stephanberlin... among other things. Tonight we met a family who has two special needs children and one normal child. Their response to this challenge has been to become actively engaged in helping to set up 3 special needs schools in the Anatolia region. They are also, through their travel agency which arranges tours for tourists, working on a program to provide special needs children with travel tours- not make any money doing it. The wife, who wore a head ...
Antolýa, Turkey edpaytonWell first time at Club Med.. great location; fab room, very luxurious... the whole happy campers atmosphere though.... not really me... but i recommend the med coast of turkey... 300 days of sun per year... and you can windsurf; sail; go horse riding in the mountains; waterski; parasail,etc...
Paris, France mireillecapponi... Roman ruins and an equally large amount of touristy shops and restaurants. I didn't care much for the commercialism (although the bellydance outfits were a little bit better quality) but the ruins were awesome, and the only part I saw that charged admission (the Roman Theater) was 5 Turkish Lira. That's less than 4 dollars/3 Euros/2 Pounds. Compare that with 11 Euros a head to get into the ruins in Rome!
Side, Turkey danbirchall... open by the river. Ants and I chose the under the stars option and it was another relaxing evening playing with the puppies(tree house owners 4 fluffy wee things) and a couple of quiets after a scramble up the gorge. Yesterday was a drive day with only a short stop for lunch and a shop in Kos. We in Olympos now some more ruins and a relaxing day at the beach. Gotta fly so more latter Cy and Ants
Olympos, Turkey ants... Obvıously not much left but pretty cool seeıng ıt was 2500BC. From Troy we headed further down the coast and pulled ınto some forestry where we bush camped for the nıght. Today was a road trıp to Salcuk - we2re havıng dınner wıth a carpet shop owner and hıs wıfe whıch should be pretty cool. We're stayıng ı ...
Salcuk, Turkey ants... u cant buy anything. Now dont get me wrong - I love a bit of the unspoilt villages as much the next person but just in the right doses! Maybe thats just the city boy in me at heart. Antalya - great place to while away a carefree day. But I guess it must be the old Catholic guilt complex in me or my innate masochistic suffering tendencies that makes me question (on some level) what I achieved today. Part of my problem when travelling is that I always ...
Antalya, Turkey wadirunner... like Kas. I was about to run for the hills when I met a Hawaian guy with a boat in the marina who invited me onboard for a bit of a sailing trip (that old chestnut!) Casey was in Turkey on his boat for a few months and had a friend, Ben, over from the UK visiting him for a week and they were planning on sailing up the coast the next town - and did I want to come along? Of course I did - but was a bit concerned that they ...
