- Cumulative metres and distance for the trip: 13,200m and 480km.
I no longer feel like an elite athlete who has ben in …

Last day! Roman Baths and Stone Henge
What a day to finish the bus tour! First stop Bath! WOW! What a beautiful town!!! All the buildings are made out of the Bath stone as a rule. We did a tour of the Roman baths and it was just the most incredible thing!!! Just awesome the scale of the baths soooo long ago in the 1100's!!! Then onto the Stone Henge! It was so much bigger than I was …
Kent and back to London
In the morning after the rooster woke me up and before I went back to London, I thought it would be good to do a bit of exploration. I found a map and set off along the bridle paths between the neighbouring properties. It was fantastic. Everyone said good morning, lots of people walking their dogs and kids. One bazaar thing I found was a sign …

Historical Traveler Reviews Jurys Inn Islington London
Great place
Stayed one night at this lovely hotel with a group of 14 people. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of breakfast and a great pub open until late. The rooms were spacious and clean and it was only a few minutes walk from Angel underground station. I'd surely stay there again.
Fantastic!!!!
my husband and i have just spent the night at Jurys, Islington, and i would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone......it was absolutely fantastic. For the price of 65 pounds ( booked through Londontown) we had a spotlessly clean room, with fantastic views over London, all the staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble, they even remembered our name!!! it was close to the shops and chapel street market, and there was a bus service right outside the door, If your planning a trip to London.....stay at Jury's....you wont be disappointed.
Comfortable Clean and Friendly (and that's only the reviewer)
Stayed for one night in November, large room - very comfortable and clean but the air conditioning unit made a racket.
Nice bar, good food but the hotel is close to Upper Street where there are loads of bars and restaurants if you want to dine out.
Would recommend it !
Great Stay
Great hotel great staff very comfortable stay.
We had had trouble with a corporate booking with another hotel in islington area and wernt able to stay, the Jurys staff were very helpfull and fitted us in at very short notice and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable knowing what we had experienced at the previous hotel. I really recommend this for business or leisure...
Very pleasant
This hotel is in the fashionable area of Islington, North London - the public areas are very nice, the staff freindly and helpful, and the rooms comfortable, clean and modern.
It is only a 3 star hotel, so no room service etc, but it is in a very good location with two 24 hour supermarkets in walking distance. Islington is full of good bars and restaurants and it's very easy to get to the West End and the tourist sites from here (Tube stop & loads of buses very close).
For London, very good value....
Comfortable, clean and pub closes at 1:30am
Good place to stay in London. Rooms are clean and comfortable. And the best thing is Hotel Pub is open till 1:30am that's very important in London where all regular pubs close at 11:00 to enjoy your last drink after a day in the city.
The underground line is a few meters away but you need a change to another line in most of travels around the city. I would recommend Bus number 73 that stops infront the hotel.
I will go there again when in London.
I only have one complaint about the hotel. We contracted a Continental Breakfast, the hotel was refurbishing its restaurant and decided not to allow Continental Breakfast costumers go to the restaurant, only English Breakfast were allowed. The rest received a box with our breakfast in front the door of our room every morning wich is not as comfortable as going to the restaurant as you can image.
Decent hotel in a good location
The location of this hotel is excellent -- just down the street from Angel tube station, and in Islington, a thriving borough. (Definitely check out Masala Zone up the High Street if you like Indian food!)
The room was clean (aside from odd dark stains on the carpet), the bathroom spacious. The television was curiously tiny, though we didn't spend a lot of time in the room so I suppose that's not so important. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Loved it so much!!!!!
I loved the Jury's London Inn becuase it had excellent food, great service, really great people, and such a fancy hotel. I loved it!!!!!
Great rates for a great hotel!
Just back from a quick weekend in London. The July's Hotel was wonderful. So central for all facilities and it has a very secure car park just out of the congestion charge band too - brilliant! Rooms were very clean but a little on the dark side if you want to read in the evening. Nice strong shower and good choice of TV programmes if you wanted that. It was a cold weekend outside and we felt a little cold in the room at first. Very good breakfast (continental) included in the price. Stayed one evening for a meal which was adequate but the sirlion steak was a little over done - never mind, the rest of it made up for it somewhat. We loved the ice making machine in the corridor - if you take your own chanpagne you can have it 'on ice' without feeling guilty for asking about it! We would definitely stay there again excellent value for money. Very friendly helpful staff and a good weekend all round. Thanks to all concerned.
Excellent central location
I stayed here on a recent business trip and found the hotel to have an excellent central location, close to the Angel Islington tube station and various shops, bars and restaurants. The entrance lobby was very welcoming and of a high standard as were the hotel bar and restaurant.
My room was very clean, spacious and well maintained although the view wasn't great! I would stay here again and definitely recommend the hotel to friends and business associates staying in this part of London.
