... hill (where I forget to look at the queens summer house) and buy a data sim for the ipad in the hope that I'll have access as not much else works!!! We bus it back to pick up the car and head for St Andrews. What a great town this is, could spend days here. We grab some lunch a quick tour then head out to the golf course. Gary goes off to explore the old course and I just wander. Its all very impressive, I head to the beach ...

Last of the "Cory's list of must-sees" was the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye. Unfortunately it was a very grey day and the notoriously blue pools were not so blue. Trystan was also feeling poorly for a few days so although Skye was beautiful we didn’t really get to enjoy too much of it. I want to too!

As of the other day I have worked in the Café upstairs a lot more than usual, and unknown ...

Unfortunately, just as Roger was cycling away a bloke came out of one of the caravans and said that no tents (or touring caravans) were allowed to use the site - residential use only. So I packed most of the stuff back up but 'squatted' in the half put up tent to keep warm from the cool breeze while Roger nipped off to Halfords, just got ...

... of old railway line that took you to within 7 miles of the centre of Aberdeen. We expected this to be a doddle - but was incredibly hard work - into a very strong and unpredictable head and sidewind along exposed bankings on a narrow gravel track that had had fine loose sand like gravel infilled into it - which stopped the bikes dead (would have been fine on lightweight mountain bikes) if they took you by surprise. Felt like we wouldn't be able to make it at quite a few ...
