... 20 minutes for drinks to arrive then another 30 minutes for the meal to arrive but no burger for Monica!!!! She cancelled her meal, damn embarrassing! Klaipeda is nothing like Vilnius, plainer looking houses even in the Old Town. Tomas said "there is nothing here to see" but Lana has relatives to catch up with so we have to meet them. Back to the apartment to wait for Tomas to return and hear about his first day at the timber mill. Tomas returns ...

... it was a picture perfect day, sun shining, no wind! Lots of people out today, sailing, rowing, paddling across the lake, we crossed over to the castle on the one & only bridge to the island. Laimonas said there used to be only 1 Kibinai restaurant in Trakai, ...

We went to Witches hill where artists have carved all these creepy statues of tree gods and origin stories etc. ...

... Radisson Blu a Hotel near the Central Park and Old Town. There was little time to settle in before a visit as mad to cloisters of the Riga Dome Cathedral, A concert featured a violinist and and organist playing a huge pipe organ. It was a moving experience to hear the violin compete with the organ. The performers were Estonian and the acoustics were outstanding. Our bus group appreciated the cultural experience. Leonie missed this in an attempt to rid herself if her persistent ...

We spent quite a while in that museum. When we got out, someone gave us a pamphlet, which highlighted The Castle Museum. Realized that it was on our way back to the ship anyway, we decided to give it a try.

There were huge signs pointing us to the entrance as we arrived the grounds of the museum. We followed the stairs down into a cavern, a lady took our entrance fee, and we were off to see ...
