I chose this weekend to go to Amsterdam back in September when I heard about/bought my ticket to the Amsterdam Music Festival... needless to say it was the busiest weekend for tourism in the city and things did NOT go smoothly with our accommodations. I've heard great things about AirBnB, which for those who aren't familiar with the system is a …

Why not visit my good friends Andy and Donna in England, and cruise around Wales for some weeks? Quickly decided, I have my bags packed a week later and off I go. After months of riding home - work - home, this is what riding is all about. Packed bags, ...

    ... of live music.

I didn't do much during the day except be lazy, do some laundry and play around in the kitchen a bit with Rasta Hoots, my trusty kitchen assistant. When Elizabeth got home, we walked to Soup en Zo (second visit) to pick up dinner for ourselves and lunch for one of Elizabeth's colleagues. The soup was amazing but we were too late for the delicious cheese straws that accompanied my tomato soup in the windowsill the previous Friday. I had ...
